The service

Call Catchback provides business-phone and customer-conversation tools for participating businesses. The AI receptionist is designed to triage customer calls and collect useful intake information; the participating business remains responsible for diagnosis, estimates, service decisions, repairs, installation, pricing, and work quality. Depending on the features the business enables, Call Catchback may also support customer history, appointment coordination, estimate tracking, service records, technician-approved Aftercare, receipts and job photos, warranty and maintenance records, business texting, and AI Voice. Customers continue interacting with the participating business; Call Catchback operates the communications workflow on that business's behalf within the settings and information the business provides.

Membership and usage pricing

The current public introductory launch membership is $49.99 per month. Setup can be completed before the live trial starts, and no card is required merely to configure the workspace. Calls, messages, carrier fees, taxes, registration fees, or other usage-based items may be priced separately when applicable and will be disclosed before live billing is enabled. Existing customers keep the subscription price already attached to their subscription unless they choose a different offer. The checkout, order confirmation, or written activation terms presented to the participating business control the price actually charged.

Free live trial and number hold

The current launch trial provides 7 days of live receptionist service with additional call and provider-cost safety limits. Setup and configuration time before deliberate trial activation do not reduce those 7 live days. When a trial or paid membership becomes inactive, live receptionist service may pause while the business workspace and history remain stored. If a managed Call Catchback routing number is still assigned, Call Catchback generally reserves it for 7 days after service becomes inactive so a timely reactivation can reuse the same number. After that hold, the managed number may be released or recycled and a later reactivation may require a different managed routing number.

Pay-for-usage philosophy

Call Catchback is designed so a small business does not have to prepay for large blocks of unused capacity simply to access the useful parts of the product. Core workflows can include AI call triage, business texting, customer and service history, estimate tracking, Revenue Recovery, customer photo intake, scheduling, appointment follow-up, completion or Aftercare records, warranty and maintenance reminders, and related automation. Membership or volume levels may differ in included usage, business numbers, user capacity, or other scale-related limits rather than withholding the core customer-lifecycle tools. Automated SMS remains subject to business authorization and carrier or A2P approval.

Usage controls

Where supported, participating businesses can select AI Voice answer modes, monthly usage limits, and what Call Catchback should do when a selected limit is reached, such as switching to text, stopping AI Voice, or notifying the owner. Usage controls reduce surprise spending but cannot guarantee an exact invoice amount because provider rounding, taxes, carrier fees, delayed usage reporting, or other permitted charges may post after an interaction occurs.

Appointments and recovered revenue

Call Catchback may record appointment offers, customer acceptance, owner-confirmed job outcomes, and estimated or confirmed recovered revenue to help the participating business understand results. An appointment acceptance or reported job value does not by itself create a per-appointment performance fee under the current membership-and-usage offer. Revenue and opportunity reporting are measurement tools and may depend on information supplied by the participating business.

No outcome guarantee

Call Catchback does not guarantee any number of calls, replies, appointments, jobs, sales, revenue, savings, or return on investment. A participating business remains responsible for staffing, scheduling, service availability, pricing, sales, work quality, licensing, customer relationships, and deciding whether to accept or perform a job.

Messaging and calling rules

The service is intended primarily to respond to people who contact the participating business and to continue legitimate business conversations, not to send unrelated purchased-list spam. Revenue Recovery may help a business review its own prior estimates or unfinished customer conversations, but an imported list does not automatically trigger outreach. Automated SMS will not be activated until the applicable membership is active or trialing and business authorization, sender configuration, and carrier or A2P requirements are satisfied. Messages identify the participating business where appropriate. Consumers can reply STOP to opt out of automated texting for that sender, and HELP provides service information where supported. Message frequency varies with call and reply activity. Message and data rates may apply. AI Voice will not be enabled for a business until the applicable answer mode and usage limit are selected and required launch controls are satisfied.

Client authorization and carrier registration

The participating business must provide accurate registration and business information and explicitly authorize Call Catchback to operate the selected communications workflow. Live calling or messaging will not be enabled until required carrier, sender, number, and compliance steps are completed or documented as not required. Provider and carrier review timing is outside Call Catchback's control.

Business number and portability

Call Catchback normally assigns a managed routing number behind the business's existing public phone number; customers can continue calling the business number they already know. A managed routing number is not guaranteed to be permanently portable or permanently reserved after service ends. Where a number is eligible for transfer and provider rules permit it, Call Catchback may reasonably cooperate with a legitimate transfer request, but the business should not assume the managed routing number replaces ownership of its existing public number.

Client responsibilities

The participating business must keep its business identity, ring-to phone, service area, business hours, approved answers, scheduling information, and other operational details accurate. The business is responsible for reviewing customer questions that require human judgment and for avoiding prohibited, deceptive, unlawful, or sensitive-data workflows. The standard product is not designed for healthcare, mental-health, legal, financial, political, emergency-dispatch, or other regulated or high-risk communications without separate review.

Billing and payment

When live billing is activated, membership and permitted usage charges may be processed through Stripe or another disclosed payment provider. Call Catchback will not intentionally activate live customer messaging, AI Voice, or recurring billing solely because a business submits a founding-access application. Activation requires the applicable setup, authorization, provider, and payment steps. A business should promptly report billing questions or suspected usage errors so they can be reviewed against available provider and application records.

Suspension

Call Catchback may pause calling, messaging, AI Voice, or other features if registration expires or is rejected, provider credentials or routing fail, payment becomes past due, complaint or opt-out patterns create risk, the participating business supplies inaccurate information, usage materially exceeds selected protections, or continued operation may violate provider rules or applicable law. Pausing uncertain traffic is preferred to continuing a workflow that may be unsafe or noncompliant.

Cancellation and changes

The current founding offer is not intended to require a long-term service contract. Paid customers can use the Stripe customer billing portal where enabled to update payment details, review invoices, or schedule cancellation at the end of the current billing period. Valid charges already incurred remain due. Features, included credits, provider costs, and future pricing may change prospectively as Call Catchback develops. Material pricing changes for an existing paid account should be disclosed before they take effect rather than silently applied retroactively.

Founding-access status

Some Call Catchback capabilities are still being rolled out and tested. A public description of a planned capability does not mean that capability is already enabled for every account. The receptionist may suggest likely Aftercare material from service context, but the participating business is responsible for deciding what customer instructions actually apply. Live customer messaging, AI Voice, and billing remain subject to account-specific launch gates and provider readiness.

Call Catchback may update these terms prospectively as the service, provider requirements, and supported workflows evolve. Material changes affecting paid customers will be disclosed before they take effect.
